Het Sociaal Economisch Initiatief was bedoeld om Cura\u00e7ao een goede startpositie te verlenen als autonoom land binnen het Koninkrijk der Nederlanden.<\/p>\n<p>De verantwoordelijkheid en aansturing voor dit SEI project is daardoor bij het Ministerie van Sociale Ontwikkeling, Arbeid en Welzijn komen te liggen. Dit onderzoek hoopt daaraan een bijdrage te leveren aangezien migranten in toenemende mate een belangrijk onderdeel van het beleid in zake sociale ontwikkeling, arbeid en welzijn zullen gaan vormen.
