WILLEMSTAD \u2013\u00a0Op woensdag 25 augustus heeft mevrouw Omayra Leeflang het boek \u201cVerkiezingen: Keiharde marketing\u201d aangeboden aan de Gouverneur van Cura\u00e7ao, Hare Excellentie Lucille George-Wout.<\/p>\n

Op de cover van het boek wordt onder meer het volgende vermeld: \u201cDe auteur neemt u mee op reis langs gebeurtenissen en feiten die het beeld van een gegijzelde democratie duidelijk maken. De machtsstrijd die gedreven wordt door keiharde marketingstrategie\u00ebn komen aan de orde in het politiek landschap van Cura\u00e7ao. Om het boek ook voor de jongere generatie enige context te geven wordt teruggeblikt naar het historische proces van de democratisering van de wereld en het proces naar de autonomie van de Antillen. Uiteindelijk doet de auteur een bijdrage aan de verwezenlijking van een bevrijde democratie op Cura\u00e7ao.\u201d<\/p>\n
