Willemstad \u2013 Vanaf maandag 11 november 2019 is de tentoonstelling \u201cVerbeeld Verleden\u201d te bezichtigen in het monumentale pand \u201cBolo di Batrei\u201d, beter bekend als Nationaal Archief te Scharlooweg 77. \u201cVerbeeld Verleden\u201d is \u00e9\u00e9n van de activiteiten, die in het kader van het 50 jarig jubileum van het Nationaal Archief worden georganiseerd. Deze tentoonstelling is toegankelijk tijdens openingstijden van het Nationaal Archief, namelijk op maandag middag van 13:30u tot 16:30u en van dinsdag tot en met vrijdag in de ochtenduren van 8:00u tot 11:30u en in de middaguren van 13:30u tot 16:30u.

Om deze tentoonstelling te realiseren, zijn 8 lokale kunstenaars en studenten van \u201cInstituto Buena Bista\u201d benaderd met het verzoek, om een gebeurtenis uit de Cura\u00e7aose geschiedenis te verbeelden. Hierbij zal het contrast van de figuratieve kunstwerken van de kunstenaars ten opzichte van de abstracte kunstwerken van de studenten, zeker een uniek aspect toevoegen aan deze tentoonstelling. Door deze kunstwerken in samenhang te exposeren, zal er een interessante en spannende wisselwerking ontstaan. Kortom; deze tentoonstelling is zeer zeker de moeite waard voor zowel ge\u00efnteresseerden in de lokale geschiedenis, als voor kunstliefhebbers.
