WILLEMSTAD \u2013\u00a0Op 22 oktober 2024 heeft de Gouverneur van Cura\u00e7ao, H.E. Lucille George-Wout, een welkomstreceptie gehouden ter gelegenheid van het bezoek van de President van de Republiek Suriname, de heer C. Santokhi en zijn echtgenote, mevrouw M. Santokhi-Seenacherry, aan Cura\u00e7ao.<\/p>\n

De Surinaamse minister van Buitenlandse Zaken, de heer A. Ramdhin, was hierbij ook aanwezig. Het bezoek van de Surinaamse President aan Cura\u00e7ao staat in het teken van het versterken en verbreden van de bilaterale relatie tussen Cura\u00e7ao en Suriname.<\/p>\n

In haar welkomstwoord stond de Gouverneur stil bij de nauwe banden die van oudsher bestaan tussen beide landen. De Gouverneur gaf aan uit te zien naar een gedeelde, hoopvolle toekomst gekenmerkt door vriendschap en een innige samenwerking tussen de Republiek Suriname en Cura\u00e7ao.
