DEN HAAG – Van 9 t\/m 21 september 2025 heeft de Gouverneur van Cura\u00e7ao, Hare Excellentie Lucille George-Wout, met haar delegatie haar laatste werkbezoek afgelegd in Nederland.<\/p>\n

De Gouverneur is met haar ambtgenoten van Aruba, Gouverneur Boekhoudt, en van Sint Maarten, Gouverneur Baly present geweest bij de troonrede van de Koning ter gelegenheid van Prinsjesdag 2025.<\/p>\n

Verder stond het halfjaarlijks Gouverneursoverleg met de Staatssecretaris van Binnenlandse Zaken en Koninkrijksrelaties op het programma. Dit was het eerste Gouverneursoverleg met Staatssecretaris Eddie van Marum. Tijdens het werkbezoek heeft de Gouverneur kennis gemaakt met de nieuwe interim Directeur Generaal van Koninkrijksrelaties mevrouw Gea van Craaikamp.<\/p>\n

Verder heeft de Vice-President van de Raad van State, de heer Thom de Graaf, de Gouverneur uitgenodigd voor een afscheidsdiner en heeft de Gouverneur als afsluiting een bezoek gebracht aan de Koninkrijkstafel te Soci\u00ebteit de Witte.<\/p>\n

Tot slot is de Gouverneur ter gelegenheid van het aflopen van haar als ambtstermijn als Gouverneur van Cura\u00e7ao op audi\u00ebntie geweest bij Zijner Majesteit Koning Willem Alexander.<\/p>\n
