WILLEMSTAD \u2013\u00a0Op woensdag 25 februari 2026 heeft de Voorzitter van de Stichting Alzheimer Cura\u00e7ao mevrouw Chanerika Hellement, een kennismakingsbezoek gebracht aan de Gouverneur van Cura\u00e7ao Zijne Excellentie Mauritsz de Kort.<\/p>\n

De voorzitter werd vergezeld door mevrouw Haydee Clementina (Commissaris), de heer Benedict Bito (Honorair lid), mevrouw Edelmaris Boelbaai (Lid), Sue-ann Francisca-NG (Secretaris), mevrouw Gerlisa Ettienne (2e<\/sup> Secretaris) en mevrouw Ruthmila Mathilda (Vrijwilligster)<\/p>\n

Tijdens het bezoek vond een waardevolle uitwisseling plaats over het werk en de toekomstplannen van de stichting. Zo werd stilgestaan bij de verschillende initiatieven op het eiland die bijdragen aan de bescherming en ondersteuning van pati\u00ebnten met de ziekte van Alzheimer en andere vormen van dementie.<\/p>\n

De Stichting Alzheimer Cura\u00e7ao zet zich inmiddels al 26 jaar met grote toewijding in voor mensen met Alzheimer en andere vormen van dementie, evenals voor hun mantelzorgers, op Cura\u00e7ao. Met voorlichting, begeleiding en belangenbehartiging levert de stichting een belangrijke bijdrage aan het welzijn van deze kwetsbare doelgroep binnen onze gemeenschap.<\/p>\n
