WILLEMSTAD – De veiligheidssituatie in het Midden-Oosten is onzeker en is snel aan het veranderen. Het wordt steeds lastiger om beide landen te verlaten. De Curaçaose regering roept ingezetenen van Curaçao op, die zich in die landen bevinden, zich te registreren bij de ambassades van het Koninkrijk in Tel Aviv en in Beiroet en die landen zo spoedig als mogelijk te verlaten.
Libanon
Het ministerie van Buitenlandse Zaken van het Koninkrijk der Nederlanden (BZ) gaat diegenen met een Nederlands paspoort actief helpen om Libanon te verlaten met de inzet van militaire middelen. Nederland zorgt in de komende dagen voor militair luchttransport naar Nederland. Daarnaast blijft BZ zich inspannen om te helpen bij vertrek met commerciële luchtvaartmaatschappijen. Ook staat BZ in contact met andere landen die vluchten organiseren.

Israël
Verlaat Israël als dat op een veilige manier kan. Houd er rekening mee dat in de komende periode vluchten vanuit Tel Aviv beperkt zijn of al veelal zijn volgeboekt. De kans bestaat dat luchtvaartmaatschappijen hun vluchten van en naar Israël verder opschorten, als de situatie verder verslechtert. De grensovergangen naar Jordanie en Egypte (Taba) zijn vooralsnog geopend.
Bent u op dit moment in Israël?
Het is belangrijk dat u zich goed voorbereidt op een eventuele noodsituatie. Houd de website van Home Front Command in de gaten en volg de aanwijzingen: https://www.oref.org.il/eng (deze website is alleen beschikbaar vanuit Israël).
Het advies is om altijd een noodpakket klaar te hebben staan, en om praktische zaken geregeld te hebben, zoals geldige reisdocumenten voor u en uw gezin. Heeft u kennis van ingezetenen die zich momenteel in Israël, Libanon of een ander land in het Midden-Oosten bevinden?
Verzoek hen dan om te registreren via de informatieservice van het Ministerie van Buitenlandse Zaken (BZ) via https://informatieservice.nederlandwereldwijd.nl/registration/extended en via e-mail naar: info.dbb@gobiernu.cw van de Directie Buitenlandse Betrekkingen (DBB). Belangrijk is om voor- en achternaam, telefoonnummers en adresgegevens op Curaçao en in Israël/Libanon door te geven.
Op die manier kunnen BZ en/of DBB hen op de hoogte houden van ontwikkelingen en van adviezen voorzien, bijvoorbeeld als er mogelijkheden ontstaan om het land te verlaten.

WILLEMSTAD – The security situation in the Middle East is uncertain and rapidly changing. It is becoming increasingly difficult to leave both countries. The government of Curaçao calls on residents of Curaçao currently in those countries to register with the Kingdom’s embassies in Tel Aviv and Beirut and to leave these countries as soon as possible.
Lebanon
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of the Netherlands (BZ) will actively assist those with a Dutch passport in leaving Lebanon by deploying military resources. The Netherlands will provide military air transport to the Netherlands in the coming days. Additionally, BZ continues to make efforts to assist with commercial airline departures. BZ is also in contact with other countries organizing flights.

Israel
Leave Israel if it is safe to do so. Be aware that flights from Tel Aviv are limited or often fully booked in the coming period. There is a possibility that airlines will further suspend their flights to and from Israel if the situation worsens. The border crossings to Jordan and Egypt (Taba) remain open for now.

Please encourage them to register via the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (BZ) information service at https://informatieservice.nederlandwereldwijd.nl/registration/extended and to send an email to info.dbb@gobiernu.cw of the Directorate of Foreign Relations (DBB). It is important to provide first and last names, phone numbers, and addresses in Curaçao and Israel/Lebanon.
This will allow BZ and/or DBB to keep them informed of developments and provide advice, for example, if opportunities arise to leave the country.
